To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please be sure to read the Exceptions.
To start a return, you must contact us at hello@salacaffe.co.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable non exchangeable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, beverages, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Food Disclaimer for Perishable Products
At SALA CAFFE CO, we take great care to ensure the quality and freshness of our perishable food products. Please review the following important information before making a purchase:
- Storage & Consumption
- Perishable items should be stored according to the recommended conditions (e.g., refrigeration at or below [40°F/4°C] or freezing at [-18°F/0°C]).
- Please check the product packaging for specific storage instructions and expiration dates.
- Consume within the recommended time frame to maintain safety and quality.
- Shipping & Delivery
- We pack our perishable items with appropriate insulation and cooling methods to maintain freshness during transit.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure prompt retrieval of the package upon delivery. Delays in collection may compromise product quality.
- We are not responsible for spoilage due to incorrect storage after delivery or failure to retrieve shipments in a timely manner.
- Allergens & Dietary Considerations
- Our products may be processed in facilities that handle common allergens, including but not limited to nuts, dairy, soy, wheat, and shellfish.
- Please read ingredient labels carefully and consult a healthcare professional if you have any dietary concerns.
- Returns & Refunds
- Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns. If you receive a damaged or compromised item, please contact our customer service team within [3-4] hours of delivery with photos and order details.
- Refunds or replacements are considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Liability
- SALA CAFFE CO is not responsible for adverse reactions due to improper storage, handling, or individual food sensitivities.
- By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with perishable food items.
